1500 De Lux Braai | high grade 304 Stainless Steel | Including 2.4m Flue Kit
1500mm built-in Stainless Steel De Lux braai suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
Made of high grade 304 stainless steel in a brushed finish.
It can withstand corrosive environments including coastal regions. Unlike the 430 (medium grade),
the 304 can be exposed to direct moisture and sea salt, although, the braai does require regular cleaning just like any other home appliance.
Material
All Braai components are made of 304 Stainless Steel. including the flue kit which comes standard with this braai.
The braai’s body and moving parts are made of 2.0 mm while the doors are 1.5 mm.
A standard V-shape stainless steel grid is included.
Braai Grid
Every braai is fitted with a single V-shape stainless steel grid.
This is a superior alternative to the commonly sold galvanized grids.
In addition, you may also purchase, as an optional extra, two shorter grids.
The 1500 braai is capable of taking two shorter grids in place of a single grid.
How does it work?
Simply remove the single grid, shift the ember maker (left) to the center of the braai,
place the two shorter grids on either side of the ember maker.
Unique Features
Good lighting always comes in handy when braaing at night time or under low lighting conditions.
Your braai is fitted with a 220V downlight/spotlight to provide good lighting. We also include a halogen bulb made of glass that can withstand heat.
Another unique feature of Lava’s De Lux braais is the bottom door & serving tray.
We use specially designed L-shape clips to keep the bottom door in a horizontal position and
we canceled the double chain. This improves the overall look of the braai.
Cowl
New Cyclone Cowl is new feature in all Lava Fires braais & fireplaces.
The cyclone cowl replaces the traditional bird-looking rotating cowl.
The round cyclone cowl is a fixed cowl – it does not rotate! It is a more efficient design and maintenance-free.
Flue Kit
Standard flue kit supplied with the high grade version, consisting of 2 x 1200mm pipes and a fixed cyclone cowl.
Rust and Corrosion
The 304 grade is a high-grade stainless steel, suitable for corrosive coastal environments.
